Kickstart Your Sales by Defining Your Sales Funnel

You can sort online marketers into a set of at least 4 distinct groups. The first group make hundreds of thousands of dollars or even millions per year. they are in the top 1 or 2 percent of all marketers. The second group, which represent the next 2 or 3 percent of marketers make a decent amount of money – enough to give up their day job and improve their lifestyle sufficiently to be very happy with what they do.

The next few percent make up the third group who a few hundred dollars here and there. It’s enough to keep them trying, but not enough to live on.

After that, there is group 4. They are the remaining 90% of people who try and try to make money online, but get nowhere and very often end up spending more money than they make. Then they give up.

If you are in either of the lower two groups, you’re probably wondering what it is that the guys in the other 2 groups do to bring in all that money.

The key is to have a well-defined system that is known to work, which can be duplicated and repeated over and over again.

Unfortunately, many people get a bad case of “shiny object” syndrome. They sign up to various mailing lists and then time and again they get presented with the latest system that brings in money with just a few clicks of the mouse. They are always seeking that magic bullet – the get-rich-quick scheme.

Sadly, it doesn’t exist. If it did, we’d all be using it and there’d be no financial crisis to worry about.

Any business, whether it’s online or offline, requires a few fundamental things for it to exist,
stay in existence and to be successful.

Those of you who are seeking the magic bullet will be disappointed to learn that one of these things is effort. Yes. You have to do some work. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be a 9-to-5 job and a lot of online marketing can be automated, so once the initial work is done, the workload decreases.

The most important part of any business is a “modus operandi”. That’s Latin for “way of working”. In other words, you need a system. The whole idea of marketing is to draw in potential customers, convert them to buyers with a hard-to-resist offer, and then once they are in the buying mood, hit them with some more offers. At the same time, you are adding them to one or more mailing lists. This is often referred to as a “sales funnel”.

If you can put together a system that works like this it will make you money. And then you can use it again and again. Once that system is in place, when you want to set up another income stream, you will have a procedure to follow to get it set up with the least amount of effort.

But now you’re thinking that’s all well and good, but how do you develop that system if you’ve never done it before. You’ve tried and failed with various methods, so how do you know what will work? The answer is to follow a tried and trusted plan that somebody else has developed.

As luck would have it, there is one marketer, Tony Shepherd, who has published his system and it’s pretty easy to follow if you know the basics of setting up a squeeze page and sales page. When he was developing and testing his system, he made a total of over $20,000 in his first 6 weeks. If you did that every 6 weeks, you’d be earning around $175,000 per year. For most people, that’s more than enough to give up their day job!

I was looking for an online marketing system for my team and I was getting quotes from $5K-$15K!!! and 1-3 months of time to develop. A friend of mine told me about iBoostBiz. They over many turn-key lead capture sites, everything from Travel, Weight Loss, Energy Deregulation and more. They have a lead capture system for almost any MLM program. You can easily also create your own landing pages with their wizard. But what’s really awesome is that they have a team sharing feature so anything that you customize can be shared with your team. I was going to build a custom system for my team, with a cost of over $10K, with iBoostBiz I was able to setup my system and get a ton of tools like video e-mail, Toll Free #, autoresponders, and more for $60 and I was up and running in a matter of an hour.
