Harder Work Than I Thought

I just assembled two beds and prepared a bedroom for two more language students who arrive from Italy today. I’m glad I only have to do that once! The bathroom is sparkling clean, and I unblocked the waste pipe on the shower so that the water drains away properly now.

Next on the agenda is the garden. The window boxes are full of snapdragons standing proud and the hanging baskets are dripping with “Million Bells” – a small, but cascading variety of the petunia.

But the inevitable weeds have also settled in, so I have those to clear out. And the grass to cut. And the hedges to trim.

Little wonder that my online business is taking off so slowly – I barely have the time to work on it. But when it does and I quit my day job…

(I can dream, can’t I?)
