Back Into the 21st Century

beeing a techno-geek, I was one of the early adopters of ADSL broadband. In fact I signed up as soon as it was available from my local telephone service. That was about 10 years ago. In that time, I have to say that I have gone through about 4 different routers. The first one just started sending garbage. The next, which was wireless, survived but its power adapter blew. A replacement was about the same price as a new router, so I bought another wireless one. By that time I had a laptop PC and a PDA with WiFi, so having wireless was a great luxury.

Sadly, that router died, too, and I obtained a replacement one, which sadly was not wireless.

Now I have added a wireless access point, which I picked up from eBay for a mere £4.99. I have to say that it works better and more reliably than either of the wireless routers I had before. And what a relief to have my wireless connection back again.
